In the commercial sector, Langwith Builders have been involved in a whole host of varied projects ranging from town centre stores with restricted sites, a new agricultural sales centre for G & J Peck Limited through to an extension to a prestige car showrooms for Peterborough Audi.

Audi Showroom  This project, let using traditional tendering, involved the addition of a significant extension followed by internal re-modelling of the whole of the existing facility whilst ensuring that the dealership could continue to operate at all times. As a result of careful planning and programming the project was completed without the dealership having to close at any time and the completion of the works has seen the client having an enhanced sales facility. The overall cost for this project was almost £870,000.

G & J Peck Limited  This project which was undertaken on a design and build basis saw Langwith Builders involved from the outset of the project working with the client to establish his requirements. Thereafter the scheme was delivered utilising a steel frame solution for both the workshops and sales area and the result was a high class facility which reflects the employer’s requirments with regard to the selling of agricultural machinery and parts. The overall cost for this project was almost £970,000.

Commercial Stores  The project to redevelop a redundant site in the conservation area in the town centre of Spalding to create 3 retail units involved working on a very restricted site with programmed material deliveries etc. The project was completed on time and within budget and resulted in a high level of client satisfaction and an improved environment in a sensitive area of the town’s conservation area. The high level of detailing and quality of finish was commended by the local planning authority.
