Cedars Care HomeThe scheme to provide additional bedrooms at the rear of the existing property involved accessing the site across the main entrance area whilst maintaining access for the residents and their families. The nature of the site required it to have a piled foundation solution which had to be managed so as to avoid disturbance to the residents. The form of construction was traditional but Langwith Builders recommended the use of an air source heating system with underfloor heating so as to reduce the energy usage of the facility. The overall cost for this project was almost £600,000. |
St. Norbert's Catholic ChurchLangwith Builders were appointed following a design completion to complete the scheme on a design and build basis. The opportunity to work on such a prestigious scheme was one that was enjoyed by all involved and the resulting building will provide a superb facility for the catholic community for generations to come. The overall cost for thsi project was almost £830,000. |
